Ice Climber is a game for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The goal of the game is to get the Ice Climbers up to the peak of the mountain where the Condor is. Along the way you have to jump on blocks and clouds while avoiding Topi, Nitpickers, and Polar Bears. There are also Vegetables to collect. If the player achieves collecting all of the vegetables, then they win a bonus. The main character is Popo, the boy in the blue parka, and his partner is Nana, the girl in the pink parka. There is also a multiplayer mode which features a head to head competition between Popo and Nana to see who can reach the top first. They can cooperate on the way up but for the bonus it is a one-on-one competition.

Although Ice Climber does not have a sequel, it has been re-released multiple times, including as a set for the e-Reader, as part of the Classic NES Series, included in Animal Crossing, and for the Virtual Console.
